After all of the hype and "hullabaloo" surrounding this movie, I finally watched it.Before you read any further...don't hate me if you LOVED it.
It was kinda weird.
I can appreciate the basic story about girl sees boy, boy sees girl, they meet and fall in love.
Maybe I'm just from a different generation and I really CAN'T appreciate this movie style....the dark dreary color and foreboding tones.
And speaking of tones, I did notice the pale makeup job on Edward's face .... and you know how? It was obviously not done well.
But I think what bothered me most (besides the whole vamp premise) was why they fell for each other. I just wasn't buying it. Edward was you know, moody and dark.... and Bella, well, what made her interesting? I mean, really!
So my rating for this movie is just a mere 3 popcorns. Not sure it was worth all of the hype.
A little late, yes. But just in time for the next movie to come out...which I probably won't get around to seeing until next year. If at all.

I am probably one of the few people who have not watched or read and of the Twilight stuff. I just don't get it. I was the same way with Harry Potter; never saw the movies. I do like chick-flick dramas and romantic comedies. I'm waiting to see the movie Blind Side with Sandra Bullock. I comes out November 20th.
I like that you posted the Serenity Prayer a few days ago. It is a prayer that has kept my family together for years.

I know the Dracula stories have been around forever - didn't like them much either! I guess I'm more the Jane Austen type! LOL!

I've had the book over a year and no interest, really, in reading it. And even less interest in the movie. But of course I will either start the book or rent the movie, just to see what all the hype is about. Because I cannot resist hype - even if it's no good in the end. ha!
hmm it is not yet in our movie theaters, but I heard the soundtrack and did'nt like it this time...well i am curious because I read, no I ate (do you say that? :D) the books and liked them very much.

Ok I'm a weirdo. I TOTALLY agree with you. Well until I read the books. You have to read the books to even like the movie. I really like the second book but the movie has really changed it and if it leaves as much out as the first it will be bad too. I like the characters except for Bella. I really don't like her and she causes a lot of trouble! hehe anyway I am going to see the next movie and I'm caught up in the hype BUT I think I just want to. OH!! I also think that the author is a really bad writer. I know, I told you I'm a weirdo!! You may want to try reading the books though. I didn't hate it til the last one and have been told by a 15 year old fan it was bad too! Thanks for reviews!!
