We had this chair in our antique booth but brought it home for Dear Bebe to play in. It was perfect for taking pictures with her new Cat in the Hat from her Auntie.
Awwwwwww! She just loved getting kisses from kitty.
Well, Love, our gray cat likes to sleep in or on things as noted here in this post. I was quite surprised when she jumped up into the chair to try it out for herself. It must have looked like a great place to sit. Or, she was jealous no one was taking pictures or giving her any kisses.
So, not wanting to disappoint Love, I started snapping her photo
in model-like fashion....when all of a sudden....
Our completely jealous and very territorial kitty, Sissy,
made it clear she didn't like it very much.
Things escalated from there. Flattened ears on one cat,the arched back on the other. Not looking good.
Mrrrrrrrrrrrrrreoooooooooowwwwww!
Mrrrrrrrrrrrrrreoooooooooowwwwww! Watch out for those fangs!
Whooie. We had to break it up before it got too nasty.

Your kitty photo shoot was a riot! As a person who is also owned by kitties, I thoroughly understand what those two felines were doing at that time! That Love is very photogentic---she's marked just like our little Twiggy.

hilarious! I think it's so funny to see cats hiss. My mom used to have a cat and I kinda/sorta used to tease her just to get her going and hissing.
Oh my, we just got a siamese cat and wow! They have issues, my Maine coon is whipped! 3 times the size as her but he just can't understand the cross eyed lady with the bad attitude!
What started off as an innocent photo session with Bebe really turned out rough! Hope everyone managed to keep their hair intact!
