So before I start babbling about a bunch of things today, here are the gals I'm passing this award on to:
My Little Cottage in the Making
Niesz Vintage Home
From My Cherry Heart
I'm A Little Teapot
Millefiori Favoriti
The rules...1. Please put award on your blog. 2. Add link to the person who awarded you. 3. Nominate 5 fellow bloggers for this award. 4. Add links to recipient. 5. Leave a comment so the recipients know they have received an award.
To all the lovely bloggers I have passed this award to...I did go ahead and look on your blog to see if you were already presented this award...and if I somehow missed it, I do apologize!
And now for my tomato sighting! Look what is growing on my tomato plant vine!
These are our regular tomato plants...nada, zip, zilch as of yet. We planted them too late. Hopefully soon!
And this is Dear Hubs getting the sweet corn ready for dinner. We have this about every other night in the summer because HE LOVES CORN ON THE COB. His Father grew it on their farm and he just can't seem to stop eating it. It IS good, especially when he comes home from an Amish farm where they just went out into the field and picked it for him.
I'm a zucchini girl myself...but hey, we can't get this during the winter so we might as well enjoy it now!
And can I just say I was surprised Dear Hubs finally left a note on my blog yesterday....but I think I have created a "monster." He couldn't stop checking to see if anyone left a comment.
He did get one marriage proposal.
Tee hee!
And as far as the bunnies are today...I need to go out and check on them. I'm sure Momma B and Papa B are taking good care of them. But pictures of cute little babes are always a nice addition to the blog. Stay tuned!

Jillian,
Thank you so much for this award! What a honor..
Your vegetables look delicious. Did you have a nice dinner on your deck?
Have a great weekend honey!
Michelle
Hi Jillian!
This was so sweet of you to pass this great award on to me! I did get it awhile ago and I guess it's on the bottom side of my blog, so if it's OK with you I won't pass it on again but I'll add you to my "thanks" for it as I really do appreciate it!
I love fresh corn too, but it has gotten so expensive this summer! Around here it is one dollar an ear! I remember buying two ears for a dollar (does this make me sound old and cranky? lol!)
I love all the baby bunnies in the post below! I bet their Momma moved them someplace dry. There is a salt marsh near where I live and it is full of cottontails! They are survivors
Hugs, Pat
Jillian,
Congratulations on winning the Brilliante Award (I did too!) AND on your red, ripe tomatoes! Mine are coming on very slowly - but I have eaten 2 (yes 2!) already and picked several reddish/green ones 'cause I have a varmint sneaking over and pulling the lowest fruit off and taking a bite and then LEAVING it on the ground! GRRRRRR! I say, "If you're hungry, take it and eat it, but don't waste it!"
Oh Jillian, You're so sweet!
Thank you for my award!
We've only gotten 2 tomatoes off of our plants so far.
They were put in so late, I don't expect we'll get many for a couple of weeks yet.
Glad your hubby enjoyed the toy car show. :)
Kimberly
OMG! First you show us your hubby loves and takes care of animals and now you are showing he helps with dinner too. Oh be still my heart.
Thank you so much for the award. It's always nice to see when people enjoy my blog.
Hugs,
Joanne
Congrats on the award!
That corn does look good :)
Rich looks at the comments too LOL He hasn't written yet, but he will soon ;)
hugs,
rue
That corn looks scrumptious--I don't blame your husband for wanting to eat it so frequently. Your bunny update is so darling--and what a great guy you have to document their little "whereabouts" for us AND to take part in the "blogging" world!
We are just starting to get tomatoes too. And we have been picking up corn at the local fresh produce stand every day...you have to get it while it lasts :-)
Penny
Those tomatoes look fantastic! I wish we'd planted more than just an herb garden, but we can barely remember to water that! :)
We're kind of skipping all over in Bible study this summer, a lot of our group is out of town, traveling so we're going to pick a 'theme' in the fall. Until then, well, we're eating a lot. :)
I've heard good things about Beth Moore though.
