Leaving the Nest

Now that the Grand Opening of my new website has begun, I am also going to begin separating the two blogs. For awhile I have been posting about antiques and neat facts on both of my blogs. I think it is time for Bella Rosa Antiques "The Blog" to "leave the nest" and venture out on her own. So, on "Jillian's Pages," I'm back to blogging about my everyday thoughts, events, and what I like to call "all that jazz." An occasional post about my antique life will pop up, of course, because this is what I do and we are usually found antiquing....a LOT! For the duration...as long as I can keep it up I will be posting on BOTH blogs, but separately.

One of the first things I'd like to show you today is a picture of my step-son, going to his first big dance/prom event this past weekend.
How cute is this?

He looks so grown up and handsome. I remember meeting him when I first started dating his Dad. He was about to turn 12. This year he will be graduating high school. Time has flown during these seven years! He has joined the military and will be leaving for boot camp soon after. Please keep him in your prayers! I know this is a scary yet exciting time for him...as he too...is leaving the nest.

What a handsome young man! The military is a scary thought, we've got our son-in-law and daughter in Frankfurt.

Wow, Bella is growing up..what a cute post.

Thanks for sharing!

They look so cute. Leaving the nest is definitely scary and exciting. But I'm sure he will leave with all your prayers and best wishes following.

Hi Jillian,
Great pictures of your handsome stepson and his date.
As you can see, I was successful in following your suggestion. Thanks again.

Aww... they're so cute. I've really enjoyed watching my little sister go through her senior year. Of course, it makes me feel old as heck! :)
