Dear Bebe did pretty well on the ride...and looked excited as we started the journey...
We even looked at another one, right down the lane.
This one was so cute on the outside (I can just see the 4th of July fun we could have here!) but the inside needed a huge overhaul. HUGE.
Not really easy to do with a baby.
"Patience."
I'm not sure he appreciates my words of wisdom.
Those old, vintage, general stores with the big open shelving and wide counters on either side? You can just picture what it must have looked like in it's prime.
Then we went to another collection of dealer shops in an older style home. The displays in this co-op are fun to look through.
Here, I happened to find baby clothes. One cute little pair of cotton overalls with roses caught my eye. Unfortunately Dear Bebe has already grown past this size!
My Dear Sister-In-Law was taking it all in. I'm so glad they asked me to go along with them...I love going to old fashioned shops and stores in small towns.
My kind of afternoon!
To see what I found ... check out my Bella Blog, here.

Bèbè is once again "the charmer"!! I think the red and white one is darling also. The view from that one with the porch is lovely. Hope you get one, chickee........

I love that view from the screened in porch, and I especially love that little face in your first picture*! What a blessed woman you are, but I have a feeling you already know this. *grin*

That's my kind of shopping excursion! And I love that cute white and red cottage.
OOOOH, what great pics of the lake from the first house you showed. Love the decks too! So glad you got a chance to visit with family in the North!
Love,

What a fun day.. I know my hubby would love to live on in a lakehouse..
Shopping trip too? You found some treasures.. too bad those overalls were too small for Bebe.

Isn't it amazing how quickly we get to the "oh no, they've already outgrown that sweet outfit on sale" stage? Looks like you are having a great summer!
