Spiritual Sunday ~ God's Rainbow Promise

After Noah left his ark, God gave him a promise to never destroy the human race again by showing a rainbow in the clouds. (Gen 9:13)

Whenever Noah saw the beautiful bow he knew God was keeping his promise.

How can we relate to this promise?

First, rainbows are associated with storms. Kind of like our storms of life. We see the beauty of God's promise shining through our gloom.

God gives us many promises throughout the bible. It is thought there are thirty thousand of them or more.

And what's even better, God's promises are unchangeable. They have remained the same throughout time.

Just like his rainbow.

We don't see too many rainbows here in Arizona because we don't have much rain. Yes, the promises of God are true. He is faithful! Thanks for posting.

I don't much care for the rain - yet there's such comfort in the sight of His rainbows ... thank you for this beautiful reminder!

I love the promise of the rainbow. I captured a shot on the mission field in Costa Rica, over the barbed wire and grayness of the lost city. Oh the joy to see His promises fulfilled.

Blessings from this missionary mommy,

We have many rainbows here in Florida and sometimes they are a double rainbow. What a great testimony to the promises of God.
