Election Stress

Bombarded by ads. Bombarded by trash talking. I think I have election stress. Anyone else out there with me?

Whatever side I am on at this point, really doesn't matter anymore. I'm so tired of all the advertising from both parties and all of the media super-hype that I just can't wait until the election is over.

Anyone with me?

There has got to be a better way to have elections in this country. But how? I wish things were more cut and dry. Like here is candidate A and what he/she stands for and here is candidate B and what he/she stands for. But I guess this just won't work...who would be unbiased enough to put the information out there?

As it is now, all the so called "information" is turning into this in my head "blah blah blah....blah blah blah blabbity blah blah."

On second thought, maybe that's just because we are running low on sleep.

Nah, just get the election over with already! Then I can start stressing over how much my 401k has shrunk in the past week.

I understand your feelings of being stressed. I get lots of your election coverage and it gets more attention than our election! Relief is coming soon for me! Hope it is soon enough for you! Still, it is so important to vote considering what our female forebearers had to do to have that right acknowledged!

I have just been admiring that little pink hat on Baby in your Mom's blog. She and I are old friends. Oh, yes, the Great American Election and all the shenanigans of the candidates are a total mystery to us folk living in other parts of the world! Well, we shall wait and see! I do admire you finding time to blot with a newborn in the house! Lovely to meet you!

Hi Jillian :)

I've been so busy I didn't even know you were back yet! Congratulations on sweet Bebe!!

The elections aren't half as scary as the economy. I've had a hard time finding anything uplifting to post about.

Anyway, I'm so happy for you and your family :)

hugs,
rue
