When life sends you rain...time to think PINK!

It was a dreary and gray day. We'd had so many days of rain and to make matters worse, our Direct TV was out. Not that I watch a lot of TV but I guess the dark skies were getting to me. I was so desperate I went searching high and low for my little pink TV I used in college...knowing there were only a couple days left of FREE broadcast TV, I enjoyed watching it for probably the last time.

Then I spotted these beauties while I was in the grocery store. How could I pass up a sale like this? 8.99 for a dozen. I had them in my basket quicker than you could say...well, PINK SATURDAY!

It has been so rainy and gray here too - and now it is 98 degrees and steamy. Nothing like a cheap, gorgeous bouquet to make you happier!

I clicked on your other blog - love the lady head vase. I just found one at a flea market myself..I had one when I was little, but who knows what happened to it. I see yours is sold :(

Happy PS!

Lovely pink blog post! Another Saturday, where I am taking in all of the pink and visiting some of the most lovely blogs in cyberspace. I need the pink this morning, it's all dark and raining outside. So thanks for the uplift☺

Wishing you and those you l♥ve a weekend filled with sunshine, good food and many, tender memories.

Of course, you can still use this little crochet edge on your daughter's socks! My grand-daughter is 4 and I still do her socks to match her Sunday dresses! In fact, I should do some for myself because we're never too old for a little something special!

Thank you for visiting my blog. I haven't had as much time as I would have liked to today to visit all the blogs but I'm sneaking in some time here and there.

Wow, that bouquet is beautiful!

♥ the pink TV . . . . I used to have one but in blue before someone stole it. LOL, a lot of good it'll do them now!!

Great post re the 4th of July!

Jillian, your post made me smile this afternoon. What a delight. The roses are beautiful and so happy you didn't pass them up, now look what you will enjoy for days to come. I'm not a good one to hear about rainy days because we have so few of them and I love rain, thunderstorms and grey skies too. Happy Pink Saturday, Char

A crystal vase full of soft pink roses is the perfect way to brighten up a dreary day.

Your little pink TV is so cute. I know that you hate to see it become obsolete.

Best Wishes,
