A Trip to Hometown, USA

We've been away for a few days...Dear Hubby had a few days off so we decided to take a trip to the family farm up north to see Dear Bebe's Grandma and Grandpa. There's always so much to see and do up there so I am picture plenty with lots to share. I'll probably have to do another post or two to fit it all in!

I'm skipping ahead into the trip because I couldn't wait to show n tell! Today's post is about my special shopping trip I was able to enjoy with my Dear Mother-in-Law.
She loves antiques as much as we do so this was a lot of fun. And she knew exactly where to go.

Is this street great or what? It is picturesque like "Hometown USA." I fully expected to see a band, baton twirlers, and some homemade apple pie!

We stopped in almost all of the gift shops and a Mommy n Me store. I found a couple of cute dresses for Dear Bebe.

There was one store in particular that I had been to before and had loved it immediately. It was still there so we of course, had to take a look. It's called Oui Three Antiques. These gals have the best vintage taste and they display their items so well. It's just too cute. Take a look with me:

A great way to display white...

I just loved this pink-n- green arrangement with all of the porcelain roses.

I can't help but stop when I see old hat pins, vanities and displays of vintage jewelry.

And I saw this and wanted to take a photo...look how nice this was done using

a needlepoint cover. Beautiful! There was just so many things I loved in this shop...I did make a few purchases, of course. I'll show you those in another post.

And as we were leaving I happened to pass by this little shop. Adorable! We'll have to check it out another time. We had run out of time and had to get back and get lunch ready for "the boys" and Dear Bebe!

I was so happy to be able to spend an afternoon shopping with my Dear MIL.

Stay tuned for my next post about fun on the family farm!
